It is great to see that it is not just Americans who have realized it is that time.

How Nobel is Obama?

Obama and Nobel Peace prize in the same sentence would be realistic if he had done anything to restore peace in the world. With two wars still going on all he has given is promises of change that still echo in the minds of his supporters, a echo that they are still waiting to see happen. Let’s face it; Obama at this point does not deserve a Nobel Peace Prize. For those who feel he does ask yourself if Obama belongs with the names: Jimmy Carter, Martin Luther King Jr. and the 14^th Dalai Lama. I feel this is just a ploy to sway Obama’s actions in Iraq and Afghanistan to a hurried resolution of the wars, which may not be in the best inertest of the US. A secondary issue is what is Obama going to do with the money? Give it to charity or give it to the Banks and car manufactures? Only time will tell.

My letter to Obama... What would you write??

Dear Obama,

In case you have not received the memo you have won the presidency of the United States. Therefore, you can now stop telling me what you are going to do and now actually DO IT. I hope you have noticed that talking a big game gets you nowhere, after all you were an athlete you should know this. I have read comments that you are an empty suit with a mouth, I will not comment on this but I will let others be the judge.

In case you haven’t read the news lately we still have two wars going on in Iraq and Afghanistan (I think the generals want more troops for Afghanistan), Iran is making nuclear weapons (or it really looks like it), the health care bill is going nowhere fast, and by the way Chicago did not get the summer games. I know these area lot of things on your plate but like a big boy we have to eat our vegetables and clear our plate, then you can have some dessert (support of the public).

In the end however, I would like to thank you for a health care bill that I don’t need, and on behalf of our troops thanks for sending them more help in Afghanistan, and last but not least thanks for wasting over a million dollars to bring the summer games to a clod windy city.

I wish you luck, because the American people at this point need some luck.

Why I started this blog

The conversation below is a Facebook I had a couple hrs. ago that prompted the start of this blog. All names have been changed to protect the users.

JS: I believe that Obama's attempt to pressure the IOC into having the Olympics in Chicago was accepted in a great way... Chicago was the first city eliminated. Does this mean the world is tired of his BS too?

RH: I was thinking the same; we have a broke FDIC, supposedly messed up health care system, two wars going on, and broke Americans...and what is Obama doing??? Wasting more money.. Change is good...

RH:JS actually they are covered, if you have read the proposed bill it allows for even illegal immigrants to be treated. Anyways summer games in Chicago?? I can see the beach volleyball now..

RH: We just flew three 747's halfway around the world, an airfore cargo plane with a armored limo, and had to send hundreds of aids costing million of dollars, to do something that we should have just let Oprah do. Cant wait for the Michael Moore film on this one..

JS: the only problem is, no one ever attacks democrats with films or anything else because they only like to point out the republicans issues and not fix their own. i.e. illegal immigrants getting covered in the brand new healthcare plan, thats not an oversight. who trys to institute something with no checks and balances? wait... stupid question

Welcome to All

Here is the problem many films have been made about the things Republicans have done wrong (thanks Michael Moore) but, we as a society have ignored the problems that Democrats have brought to our society. Don't get me wrong I know some Republicans deserve all the criticism they have received if not more (George W. and Mark Sanford of SC). But, what I am tired of is not holding Democrats to these same unruly standards. Even if you are a democrat, you must admit they are some things you are not proud of. I do not want this blog to be a place to bash Democrats, but a place to share their flaws to prove, yes all humans are not perfect.
